Playing in the Rain

Two boys set out for play
In the cloudy sway
There in the ground met two
Alike insane
One bat, one ball, a pitch and players indeed
But foremost the thrive to play;
A game of cricket san audience there lay
Each, a role began to heartily play
Ecstasy was burst in every ball and in every swing
Seeing none audience for the splendid
The sympathetic clouds began to heavily weep
Unconsciously ruining the pitch
Albeit, stubborned though they continued the game
What though came
They did the same
Their heavily muddied feet
Was not to stop them
Their body trembled with cold
But that was too not to stop their fierce spirit either
Gallantry, fearlessness, notoriety
All buzzed with rain
Showering with boon of same
As the day came setting
The boys walk back home
Leaving muddy footprints behind
Footprints, indeed with the clue of fun, notoriety and fearlessness let by
As the sun shines the remaining
The boys proud and with sparkles in each eye
They return their homes with their head high...
